A little imagination along with a pinch of innovation has proven to be the magic recipe for Toys“R”Us China as it was awarded the “2023 Annual Marketing Innovation Award” by Meituan last week! The award was in recognition of the team’s “Drone Delivery Marketing Campaign” as well as their sales performance during the Children's Day O2O integration campaign. The “Drone Delivery Marketing Campaign” allows a 3-kilometer delivery to take a mere 15 minutes which fulfills current consumer demands of speedy delivery. Offering toys and accessories, the Beiyuan Paradise Walk Store in Beijing is ensuring everyone including your beloved pet will have something to take home. The new store also boosts a handpicked selection of toys for our Gen Z friends including a dedicated LEGO zone and a gaming product section. This along with an upgraded visual design and spacious shopping area provides nothing short of a new and improved shopping experience for “R” customers! This also marks our fourth year of partnership with Make-A-Wish Hong Kong. Our Singapore team recently participated in a heart-warming community project “Doing Good Together”, organised by Frasers Property Retail to prepare and distribute food bundles to families living in rental flats. As the toy expert, we looked for meaningful ways to foster more fun & playtime among families and included “R” very own Play Pop board game in the buddle, encouraging the development of social play. Thank you, team, for making such a positive impact in our community!

“R” expansion continues! On April 8th, our China team once again proved that nothing is impossible by opening another three new stores in Shanghai and Guangzhou, along with one newly renovated location in Shanghai! Through these new stores, we continue to fuel the imagination of more kids by creating magical moments, fostering connections, and supporting the development of children through engaging activities and thoughtfully curated toys. With these latest additions, we now have over 230 Toys“R”Us stores in more than 60 cities across the mainland. Great work team!
