CLS was established at Taichung, Taiwan in 1975, in the beginning was focused on the tennis racket plastic components, injection mold and the molding machine manufacturing. Through out 1980s CLS start diversified into various plastic products ranged from engineer parts to mass consumer products. In 1989, due to the increase of labor cost in Taiwan , multi international market development and the increasing of order volume, CLS decided to invest into Thailand and have the factory established at (Korat) Suranaree Industrial Zone, city of Nakhonachasima, about 260 Km (165 miles) northeast of Bangkok. Caused by the shortage and the high cost of mold making technician, in 2004 CLS stopped mold making in Taiwan and set up an office in Chang An, Guangdon, China (near Hongkong) , outsouring injection mold in Chang An,,Dong Guan area. With more than 30 years of mold making and injection molding experience. We can do the mold design, supervise the mold making, test the mold to assure the mold is made properly, when sample article is approved, the mold will be either shipped to Thailand for production or direct to the customer.. The headquarter office is located in Taichung, Taiwan. Sales department, Accounting department, Engineering design department and Customer service are all based here in Taichung. We have 3D and 2D software to support the engineering designing, also there is a small scale injection molding operation in Taichung location. Chang An is one of the mold manufacturing center in China, our office there also capable of mold designing, engineers are interacted with the engineers in Taichung, but the major function of this office is to assure mold to be made to our drawing, specification and quality. The sample article came out of the new mold is examined, tested or modified if necessary. We can do the prototyping fast, when customer supplied the physical sample or the drawings, we will be able to make limited quantity of the prototype in accordance with the drawings or the physical sample.. Korat, Tailand is the production base, there are 15 injection molding machines (see below), plastic rinders, hot stamping machines, eyelet machines and sewing machines, most valuable of all is the pool of skilled workers. We are able to do from injection mold the part to the assembly of the final products.
