Martin made in usa ม ร นไหนบ าง

The X Series and Road Series are both made in Mexico. My D10e is great and so is my X Series Cutaway dread. Quality is good and the sound for the price is amazing. Plus you get electronics and a gig bag. I would not hesitate to buy an X series from the Martin Mexico plant.

I've owned US Martins, and currently own a Mexican D-10E. The D-10E is a great guitar, built well, sounds like a Martin. I wouldn't hesitate to go Mexican made.

I concur on the D10e and everything else. Plus, I'll add my x Series 000 and my X Series GPC. All great guitars for the money.

The Mexico-made guitars I've played have been fine guitars. The Road series is typically a bit better than the X-series, and at a higher price point of course. I think if you're shopping in that price range, either is a good choice.

I wouldn't be that surprised if newer Mexico-made X series are better than old US-made X series, just because in the last couple decades the tooling and production technology for inexpensive acoustics has improved a lot. Your bottom-budget guitars today are way more consistent instruments due to the increased use of computers, CNC, laser cutting etc. in the design and build process.

I don�t think the qc is better on the USA models , but more than likely on the older USA models you�ll probably have rosewood and mahogany instead of saple and rich lite if that matters. I had a 90s D1 that would hold its own to a D18 .

I have a Mexican made 000X1AE that has been a great guitar for about 10 years now. It was even my main gigger for several years. The build quality is as good as my American made 000-17 and my CEO-7. The materials used in the American guitars are better quality and in the case of my CEO-7 the finish quality is much better. Given the choice I would pick my USA Martins but not because the Mexican Martins are inferiorly constructed, they just don't get as much love at the factory with materials, etc., as the USA models do.

The cheaper Martins are made in Mexico because of labor costs. When Fender opened the Ensenada factory, it was said you could have your guitar made by Mexicans in Mexico or Mexicans in the US.

I'd like to see a D 18 made in Mexico just for the fun of it. The market probably wouldn't support it though.

Having owned both Mexican- and US-made Martins, I think the Mexican-mades ones are just as nicely put together as the US-made ones. The only difference I see are quality of materials (US being better but also much more expensive).

I agree with this. I don't think where they are made matters - it is the design and materials. I have had many high end Martins and I have had many MIM Martins. The MIM Martins are very good considering the neck joint and the materials are designed to be more economical.

I had I think it was a DXM - that would be a great standalone guitar. Definitely not the deep tone and nuance of a D-18 or OM-18A, but great guitars in their own right. They pop up for great prices on Craigslist too.

I only said that more so because I think players may or may not buy certain guitars wether acoustic or electric, just cause it said usa vs Mexico. And Maybe not even necessarily actually knowing if it’s a better guitar or not, but just buying it based on that one principle. And I’ve just always felt no matter who built it or where it’s built, if it’s a great playing, great sounding guitar, then it doesn’t matter…IMO. I just hear a lot of back and forth about it so I want to see what a “general” consensus was…

I understand why you�re asking and have for years questioned the very same thing. I have the DRS2 that I really like to play & I like it�s tone, and the price I paid (bought it used) fits my ability if that makes sense. I never want to be the guy with the most expensive golf clubs who is just a hack, but hell if you like your guitar & like playing it who cares where it was made or what you paid. I currently love the tshirt I�m wearing, & I have no idea where it was made.

I had a beautiful SC13E made in the Mexican factory - where they are made is not an issue for me.
