สำนักข่าวต่างประเทศรายงานจากกรุงสตอกโฮล์ม ประเทศสวีเดน เมื่อวันที่ 5 ต.ค. ว่า ราชบัณฑิตยสภาแห่งสวีเดน ประกาศผลผู้ได้รับรางวัลโนเบลสาขาวรรณกรรม ประจำปีนี้ ได้แก่ ยอน ฟอสเซอ นักประพันธ์ชาวนอร์เวย์ จากผลงาน “บทละครและร้อยแก้วเชิงนวัตกรรม ซึ่งสามารถเป็นเสียงให้กับสิ่งที่ไม่อาจพูดได้”
