What is to be said about this new addition to the Tom Clancy library. Well I'll start by saying this, the open world concept is fantastic along with some really diverse landscapes create an amazing visual. With regard to gameplay I find it to be extremely fun when playing with others not so much with the artificial intelligence. It is somewhat exhillerating at the start but can become somewhat repetitive in nature. There is a good amount of replay value and a great story line which will keep you in the zone. The use of drones for recon and other cool techiniques will keep you busy for hours. There is plenty to do in this iteration of ghost recon. Much more than in the past, and if you bring a few buddies along for the journey it will be even better.

This game is amazingly good. It's been a while since Ubisoft has done something this good. I've heard there is about 154 square miles to cover in this game and I would not be surprised if that is true. I've already put a ton of hours into the game and have yet to come anywhere near exploring 100% of the map. The game says I've only completed 17% of it too.
It has a bit of a learning curve. The game just kind of drops you in without much tutorials which is what I like. Tonight I finally understood a lot more of how to play and how to command my squad to complete goals. The tutorial system doesn't do a very good job at showing you and that's just fine with me.
The game will require you to plan a lot and there is a big emphasis on stealth early on in the game. After you've mastered that, you'll feel more comfortable going all guns in on some enemies safely tucked away behind some wall somewhere with the help of your squad, of course.
I have yet to play with another human being but if it's anything like Watch Dogs 2, I know it will be a blast.
I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely buy it again if given the chance. I hope they make a sequel to this that's just as good in a different location with improved gameplay.

This is not a review of the gameplay, rather a review of what I ended up getting.
As soon as I inserted my disc, an update for the game began to install. This is normal so I let it install.
However, once it finished downloading that, I would get a message saying the disc cannot be read and to check it for damage. My disc is not damaged and is not dirty. I literally just received it today. I tried deleting it and reinstalling it but I just keep getting the same message. I will update my review if things get worked out.

I ordered this game after seeing the ads on Amazon and like most games, it arrived on time with no trouble there. Tom Clancy's Collection always has a cool story but this game is cooler in my opinion. As opposed to the COD and the Battlefield I bought with this game, I was able to get a lot of days play time. I've been on this game for a few weeks now and still have many missions left which I feel is money well spent. I am not much of an online gamer and as such local play time is highly appreciated. If Tom C and Ubisoft were to do a sequel I'm definitely a customer. All in all Great game and service. Edit: I never received the code to download the bonus mission

This game is alright. Not as exciting as I initially thought, but fun playing with friends or others online. Game is a bit repetitive in searching for items and doing similar missions. Massive map. Nothing really new about the game mechanics. Good game to kill time I suppose.

Pros: -- 1. It's a Tom Clancy game 2. Game is actually fun to play solo 3. Lots of missions to complete
Cons: --- 1. Playing co-op or with other people is confusing. It is hard to keep track of your friends. 2. Flying in this game is hit or miss. Some people like it, others hate it. I hated it because the controls are not easily modified. 3. This is not your daddy's Ghost Recon.
Final Thoughts: ---- This is not Tom Clancy's The Division. I purchased this game thinking that Ubisoft would continue on The Division's success. However, Ubisoft dropped the ball, and this game is completely different than The Division. It's also not evenly closely related to previous Ghost Recon games.

I EXPECT MORE FROM UBISOFT.
To start off: I love all the Assasin's Creed franchise (though earlier versions the best) as well as "The Division". Ubisoft has made some INCREDIBLE games. So I had high hopes for this game. - I tend to seek out open world co-op games specifically and was really looking forward to this one.
But as far as "open world" games are concerned, this game is just "OK". Not really as cool as I expected it to be. After playing "The Division" (Also a Ubisoft game.) we expected the game to carry over some of the great UI, player controls and evironmental effects that make "The Division" so much fun. (Fluid controls and animations moving into cover, shooting around corners, shooting sight picture etc..)
Unfortunately, this game just feels like like a rural version of GTA. Canned controls, canned, jerky, low quality animations and low detail 3D - Hardly ground breaking stuff for the latest PS4.
Quality of cut scenes is mediocre and the MOCAP of ALL characters in the game is just OK. Character rendering in-game is poor. (Unlike Division where you can look at a buddy's character standing next to you and they look awesome - It pretty much feels like video game technology from the late 90's. Nothing special. Not equal to the hype. It feels like they cut a LOT of corners to spit this game out.
I know Ubisoft has a lot of studios and farms out work to other studios, but the quality of this game is not up to the Ubisoft standard. The studio, producer and artists should NOT be used again.

It's a great game, takes time to get into it (learning how to get weapons, upgrades for the skill of you and the team) but overall this games graphics are amazing, it's a huge map and doesn't glitch as you move along the map with you're vehicle. I strongly suggest this game it's nothing compared to The Division
