Does acer aspire A715-72G m.2 slot has M key only or both B & M? i am confused as i want to buy an SSD asap. please guide.

• Hi, No problem, when you install a SATA SSD, the pins in the slot will stay dormant(because there are no pins in the SSD's second gap), when you install a NVMe SSD, the pins in the SSD will make contact with the pins in the slot and make it active, so regardless the key of the slot, it's backward compatible to work with SATA SSD as well.

I would suggest you to avoid M.2 SSDs with heatsink as they are meant for Desktops and you may find fitting them in laptops a bit awkward due to space restrictions. 0

Hi, Give this a try, go to BIOS screen(press F2 as soon as you press power button), press F9 button to set it to default settings, then press F10 to save and exit.
